Hey guys, tomorrow I'll be receiving the module. But I have another question. After I install it do I drive slow or drive how I always drive. Thanks!

If you have any questions during the install process, let me know.

Basically,

1) Open IPF program on your PC. Click the British flag to get English. Connect the IPF module via the USB port.
2) You'll need to turn off the firewall on your PC so the program can connect to the IPF servers. Once you do this, you should get two green "OK" messages after it has detected the IPF module, and made a connection to the IPF servers.
3) It will ask if you want to get a new ECM code or use old. Click new (the first time...other times you can use old...unless you want to do a TCM tune...then you have to click new again and visa versa).
4) It will ask if you want ECM tune or TCM. Choose ECM.
5) Unhook module from PC and connect the OBD-II cable (leave it connected from here on out). Go to car and connect OBD-II port first, then turn key to on position. Watch the module and wait for the light to turn green)
6) come back to PC and connect module. It will load up available tunes. The top three should be the N/A tunes. Options are stock, tune without headers, and tune with headers. All other tunes are for supercharger. Choose the tune and download it
7) go back down to car, and connect again like last time. Let the module tune the car (3 - 5 minutes) until the light stays solid green. Be sure it stays green for a short while before you turn the key off and pull the plug.
8) start the car to make sure it starts
9) go back to the PC and plug module in to confirm the process was successful.
10) turn your PC firewall back on!

Your done! Sounds like a lot, but its not bad. There is one point in the process (somewhere around step 3 I think) where it tells you to click continue, but the continue button will be disabled. Give it a minute or two and it will enable and then you can move on.

The program gives you instructions as you go along, so just follow those and you'll be golden

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the instructions, but in step 7 do I put the key to the on position, like step 5?

Yes, plug in the module using the OBD-II port first, then turn the key on. after some short white/blue/green flashes, it will begin flashing blue yellow (I think) which means it is tuning. Let it do that until it turns solid green.

Alright guys I installed the tune and all I can say is that it's amazing. I had my expectations very low for this and it just blew me away. The tune is great. But I appear to be having a slight problem. When I turned the car on for the first time after installing the tune the car had a thumping noise towards the back of the car. I tuned the car off and on again and it went away. Do any of you know what's happening?

Likely not an issue, but contact Andy with IPF if you have any concerns. It could have just been a quick relearn issue with the parameters of the new tune.

Also, I think the tune is designed for premium octane, so I'd be sure to run that in your car.

So what do you like most about the tune so far?

I did, he said it could be because something could have been failing before the tune and with the tune it would be more pronounced. Could it be the fuel pump? Btw I'm running premium 93 octane. Shell gas.

I turned the car for the first time since last night, today at 4 pm and I haven't heard anything, so it's all good. I really love this tune, especially the raised rev limiter! Thanks for the help you guys!
