It's here....my apostasy from SOLO/conversion to ARK.
My buddy just called and said the FedEx package just arrived. Will be posting pics and comparison vids on this thread. Since several ppl have said my exhaust note has changed post motor transplant I'll be posting some vids of current set up hopefully tonight. SOLO ppls, this is in no way meant to be a negative thread about SOLO just a comparison. There is a lot to like about the SOLO catback. Stay tuned.....

Those are the glorious 4 1/2" SOLO tips. That's the last video with my SOLO Mach X LLT catback, taken today.....unless of course the ARK DT-S is not as good but I don't think that will be the case.

Ahhh...I remember hearing this setup in person and I have to say the video does a good job of capturing that sound....of course listening to it with my nice PC speaker setup helps lol. That thing sounds absolutely fantastic with the SOLO, and if the ARK does sound better I'll be blown away.
I say install the ARK, put some miles on it, get it good and hot and then take more vids!

Well that's quite a switch. Hope ur likin FL. KM yeah that's pretty much how it sounds. LOL In your face, hardcore rasp. I so love the throttle-lift-off-NASCAR sound the SOLO's make. I haven't really heard anything like it in the exhaust sticky thread. LOLing at my "it's about a 1/4 mile away" comment. Derrrr it was about 1/8 if that. I wanted to expose the 3k RPM blat my set up makes. And it does expose that pretty well towards the end of the clip. That's what I'm hoping to eliminate with the ARK DT-S setup. I just hope I don't end up chasing my tail here. I'll post some clips of it brand new just cuz as well as some in a few hundred miles.
