i say that because he said it was in manual mode and thats what we get, this is one thread that explains it.

Hmm thank you did not know that... but there are a couple back and forth posts in that thread... which one is true??

"First – again, in “D” \ regular Drive mode, you will ALWAYS downshift automatically all the way to first, on a complete ( not a rolling ) stop. And from a full stop, your will ALWAYS start in first gear."

"I'm sure you folks know this, but the A6 in the vette "defaults" to a 2nd gear start. To engage 1st gear you have to select Sport Mode and then manually shift into 1st."

Edit: oh wait only in sport mode i get it now.

Biggest hit at the NY autoshow was the camaro ss and the camaro v6..

The crowds were all wowed by this car....More so than even the chevy volt or new chevy cruze...(which both were great cars!))

I think the ZR1 and Z06 were playing second fiddle to the camaro too...

Everybody loved it..

Those 20 inch high polished rims set off the victory red paint quite well

Great interior too...

Cant wait to test drive one..

By watching the training videos on the GMlaunch site, the only way to get that grunt he is looking for is like some others have stated, turning off all the traction and launch controls. Otherwise it tames the beast
