Washer Reservoir Removal
Ive been searching around quite a bit and I have had no luck trying to find a DIY way to remove the washer bottle. I want to remove it cause I literally havent used it in over a year and it blocks my air intake.
Is there a link anywhere to how to fully delete it and then what do i do with all the pipes that go to it and what not?

Once you pull the driver's side fender liner it is pretty straightforward. There are just a couple bolts holding it in place.
From there you just follow the hoses and undo them. To maximize air flow there is a panel behind the front bumper that needs to be trimmed and you should look at adding a scoop so that the air doesn't just go back out the bottom of the car. |

Its pretty simple to do; it is held in with 3 13mm bolts that you can access from underneath the car (removing the wheel well would make it easier). You can disconnect the washer hose at the hood (there is a quick disconnect in the hose), then snake the hose out the rest of the way, or disconnect the hose at the pump and leave the hose in place. Then there's just the electrical connector for the pump, and that's it. I found this little write-up here.
FYI, if/when you disconnect the washer hose at the washer pump, the fluid will come out of the pump. Feel free to call, email, or PM us anytime! - Jeremy |

Do I HAVE to remove the wheel?
Can I still trim it even though I don't got the Scoop and still get air flow

No, you don't have to remove the wheel, and don't really even have to remove the wheel well cover if you can get underneath it, just makes it a little easier.
Yes, you can definitely trim the panel without a scoop. - Jeremy |

Not to jack this thread, but does removing the washer bottle cause any warnings on the DIC? I would guess a low washer fluid message could be a possibility?
