Most Cops are nice guys, but can quickly elevate when someone being an A**, don't really blame them though. Never know what's going to happen when you walk up to a car, could be the last time. They probably have the same mentality that I have. " At the end of the day I want to go home to my family" I work in a Federal Prison, BTW

give them a break i mean they serve and protect us all and you have to understand the stuff the put up with on a daily basis. What's five min of your time to make someones day. Least my .02 cents

I have & probally will again, stop a car that is super nice or cool just to see it. I have never had anyone upset as the people on here. ( at least to my face ) I have also seen the cars later at times speeding, rolling thru a stop sign or in a accident. Guess what.... NEVER have I wrote them a ticket... became friends & still see lots of them over the years.
Yeah I probally shouldn't have stopped them.... like some of you shouldn't be on this site at work on company time...hmmmm.. I guess that's different. |

Hey better for that instead of a ticket!
I wouldn't mind at all. Cops have always been there for me when I have needed them |

If you're pulled over and are late for something, just say so! I'm sure the cop(s) would understand. However, taking a couple minutes of your time now is liable to get you out of a ticket or two later!
Once I get mine, I'm taking it to the PD so that ALL the town cops can see it . It's a small town, and my father's a sergeant. Just about all the guys and gals in the department are gearheads, so I know they'll enjoy seeing it up close. Cops are people too! |

I have never pulled a car over just to look at it and check it out, but everybody always says it is a waste of tax payer money. Well most cops live where they work or within close proximity and therefore also pay taxes so then that must be a double whammy. Yes these threads have been posted in the past and we all know who would be first in line to call the cops supervisor and complain, but if the cop is smart he could just say it was community relations which is part of the job. If it happens to you and you feel the urge to complain then go ahead because that is your right. But if it hasn't happened to you then just relax cus you will probably get pulled over for something and be thinking the whole time that he just wants to check out your car and if you feel this is the case then ask him. Some of the ones complaining really IMHO sound jealous. Now how do you like them apples.

I am sorry but I can't beleive you guys are getting pissed because he was pulled over so they can check out his car. Get over it and take it as a complement the police are people too.

I can't think of many better reasons to get pulled over....
If I got one, I would likely just look up and show my friends at the police department ahead of time so that way I could get it out of the way! |

I would definitely not be mad about it ... I wouldn't report him. That will be a bad thing to do considering that he can find you at anytime and watch you when you are driving haha. Other than that I would let him write me a non payable ticket for having a cool car and hang it on my wall.

I got pulled over earlier this week. I was on my way home from work and not in a major hurry. Cops just wanted to check out the car. I'm not going to complain.
