I have had my Camaro for over 2 weeks, and put over 500 miles on it. Today I was driving around a industrial part of town, open roads and no traffic. Soooooooooooooo, I got on it in sport/competition mode . It was great, until I saw a motorcycle cop!!!!!!!!!!

80 in a 50, but he wrote it up as 60. He said "he loved the car, and was one of the best cars he has pulled over, especially compared to the euro trash he's pulled over!"

he said 80 in a 50.. the cop wrote 60 in a 50 to be nice i guess? in CA that 20mph is the difference between impound and reckless driving charges or a $200 and 1 point on your license (slap on the wrist)

Why does that suck? The cop went out of his way to make the guy get a much less severe violation than he could have. Complain about speed limits all you want (you all know I do) but as long as they exist, you can' begrudge law enforcement officers from enforcing them. That is their job after all.

I second the post above mine. 80 in a 50 mph zone can result in some really extreme penalties in California. This officer really gave our guy a break.

Just so you know some departments have dedicated patrol divisions that just enforce traffic laws. Know your facts before you write something as stupid as this crud.
