Okay so ive noticed im not the only one on here using TapaTalk on their Android phones to view/access this forum and other vBullitins. Well on the Android marketplace it costs 3 bucks.. here is how to get it for free

1. Go to 4shared.com
2. Type in "tapatalk" or"tapatalk android" or something of that nature. A bunch of them will show up. Try to look for one with droid or android in its name and has an ending of" xxxxxxxxx.apk"

3. Click on that, wait for timer to finish, and download file.

4. Go to ur home, clik settings, applications, and make sure unknown locations/3rd party/outside applicationz/whatever its called is checked.

5. Go back to internet, click the options button, more, and go to ur browser downloads. Long press the file that u downloadrd, clck open, then install

(If the long hold and then press" open" doesnt work, and u have a DroidX, go to ur app called" Files" n find the" download" file and look for the tapatalk.apk file. Should work from there too)

It obviously lets ya yack on a forum easier as I bet they aren't typing that at the end, its does that.

Or you can use Dropbox.com Download to your computer. Upload it to dropbox, then download it to your phone from the dropbox app.

BTW, this is stealing. Sorry to be a debbie downer.

Well duh! lol I know the basics of what it DOES. Perhaps if I rephrase it. Why is it BETTER? I have a Palm Pre and just go to the site like I would on a normal PC. It works great. I was under the impression the iPhone and Android devices which use a similar WebKit based browser would work equally well. So what does Tapatalk do to make the experience any better? Are there any drawbacks?

Basically, I believe it is like a light version of camaro5. Less graphics etc so it is faster. Not sure, but there would be no other reason because I access it through my android browser with no problems.

and no, it not that much work lol it just looks like it.
i use it all of the time. im glad some of you have had a positive feedback for this.

may i remind u all: when u get an app this way it does not automatically update itself. if your version is having a lot of problems then you should try to download a newer version.

for those wondering what this app is...
it allows you to go on the forums and check your PMs, post/comment on threads, create threads, view vidoes, everything you normally could, just in a mobile version that is easier to use than your browser. it was WAY worth the effort IMO. I was hesitant at first cuz i thought the browser worked fine but this is soooo much better

i used to do that but i think this app is WWAAYYY better. it loads alot faster, allows you to get pushed PMs, recent activity, and yeah. just all around easier except the graphics are minimal:( keeps it running smooth/fast

hm, well my EVO's browser works great so I really don't need applications like this. Easier for me to just view the full page in the browser.
