Seriously need some help with colors

Need some honest opinions....

My dealer says the beige interior is a poor choice for a Silver 2LT RS .
He does not want to order it. Says Silver cars should have black interior.

I say the beige is actually a 2 tone. Everything IS black except the seating surface. The gray has a gray headliner, pillar posts and door panels as well as carpet.

Is the beige more of a champagne color?

Has anyone else ordered this?

Who cares what your dealer says. You're buying it right? I think it's your choice and a pretty good one. Your dealer should have no effect on what you want.

and your dealer is an idiot.

Maybe they were going with what the marketing team said on the 17 page workbook.

Your dealer is an idiot. Cocky and misguided, your dealer has been raised and nurtured to believe that his or her opinion really matters. By suggesting that you drive a car with a recommended color scheme, your dealer only proves that it is very easy for stupid people to be successful salespeople. If you could have your car delivered like a pizza, I'm sure you would enjoy not having to deal with this sort of ignorance and would do it. Your dealer's misguided suggestions simply verify that assuming that your dealer is an idiot is as safe a suggestion as assuming that a bottle labeled "milk" will assuredly carry milk in it.

Get the car you like. It will be beautiful. GM experts debated this particular car's features for months to get them right. They are all wonderful and will make you very happy, regardless of what your stupid dealer says.

I agree that his position that "all silver cars are expected to have a black interior" is dated from the old GM.

The root question is ... Does the 2 tone neutral/beige color look right with a silver car?

Now my wife is saying we don't want to make a mistake?

I dont think beige interior is right for any color, but thats just me. I would say either black or grey but yeah, its your car. Order it how you want it.

it's all on you, your dollar is paying for the interior not your dealer.. Im having some problems with color as well I own a 77 white vette with red interior and would love to get a maro that matches closely but I do find myself getting bored with white.. I love black and wow does it look great on the maro but I live in jersey with over salted winter roads that can murder a black paint job.. I just cant make up my mind?? either way as long as i get the car is all that matters. I'll take a pink one with purple interior for all i care in the long run....well maybe that pushing it haha

He's afraid if we don't take it he will get "stuck with" a non moving unit and keep him from getting his next order. Got to sell one to get one.

My point is the only 2 tone interior is the beige/black as the grey has grey everywhere except the dash/consul.

Tell your dealer to eat a d***. Who's going to pay for it? You or the dealer? You!

Personally I think Beige interior looks like pure $***, but it's your car. Order what you want!

Exactly, You are preordering the car for you, everyones taste is different. If your dealer doesn't like it tuff. Or as a famous Utah member once said....
"Tell that dealer to shampoo your crotch and skip out of there whistlin' dixie!! "
Maybe you should find another dealer.
