Conti DWS all-season.
They work very well as a cold-weather tire, and well enough for the occational snow storm. |

I am looking at getting a 2SS in CRT.. I think the color is very classy but having some second thoughts before pulling the trigger on a deal.
Anyone regret getting this shade of red ? I know all of you own this color and like it but just looking what people think that have owned the color for awhile. Has the paint on the plastic bumpers faded or anything like a post in this thread claims ? I like CRT and Red Rock but I cant decide and my fall back color is black. Black to me is the most consistent looking color although it is a pain in the ass and hides the cars body lines. RR when in the bright sun looks to Orange and turns me off but when it is cloudy and dark the color is amazing. I am a little gun shy with CRT because its a little to dark at times. CRT looks awesome in the bright sun but its cloudy and darker far more than it is sunny outside. Red Hot looks cheap and screams the 80's to me but it basically always looks the same. I have seen all the colors in person and really having a difficult deciding on this. Thanks, |

I too thought the Red Hot was a little "old" but it's actually a much deeper/darker red, I changed my mind and will be ordering a 1LE tomorrow in it. Here is what I'm talking about: Last edited by SSMY1LE; 08-05-2014 at 09:32 PM. |

That Red hot looks good Rob....
I am going to have to try and find a dealer that has all 3 reds in an SS model and line them up. Problem is no dealers really have all 3 in the SS model. I cant even find a 2SS CRT with the options I want on a lot within 100 miles of me. ( The closest one had black stripes and that's not something I want) |

You want to make sure you love that color in direct sunlight and overcast/shade. This is where victory red/redhot fall short IMHO. CRT, RRM, IOM, SGM, etc will always be deeper, change colors in certain lights, etc. The metallic, along with the clear makes these colors pop and have so much character. Red hot will be brighter in certain lights and even be a bit more "glossy" cause it doesnt have metal flake to break up anything. But where I saw red hot having some pros, I still found CRT to have way more. There is that 10% of the time where Red Hot will outshine CRT. I did a lot of research, I owned two Victory red (bright rally red, same thing) 1998 camaros for 7 years, and made the change to CRT. I looked in person and the non metallic colors just turn flat a lot of the time when compared to the metallics. |

Going to go with the CRT. My original choice. Came down to that and black. Vroom your comments are spot on. CRT does pop especially with the clear coat.
Pictures to come once I get the car. Last edited by punk5150; 02-28-2014 at 08:28 PM. Reason: Forgot to add something |

Fellow CRT owners. What color gill decals you guys think would look good on a 2014 2SS ?
Black, to go with the tinted windows or a chrome looking color to match the rims. Looking at getting them from big worm in Texas. |

I'd go with black gills. But then I absolutely hate chrome accents. My car has to have as least chrome as possible. In the next month or so, she'll be chromeless as I wait for the rest of my bigwormgraphics supplies to come in the mail I wish I had a better pick to show you of the gills tho, sorry
