Let me sum all this up........ it was available to ship on the 5/19, was told by the DBC it was scheduled to be loaded on the rail on 5/22, so i sold both of my 2 vehicles with the impression it was gonna be here soon. Now its 6/8, called the DBC this morning, car was removed from the railyard on 5/26, placed in QC. I have no means of transportation, i have a child and 2 jobs, AND NO CAR. Thats the reason.

Rent a cheap car for a few weeks........ask the dealer if they can rent you one.

Works for me but like most of the posts I have seen, with supposed delivery dates, I won't believe it until my dealer is touching the car and says, "It's here, I'm touching it!"

I've been able to borrow a car from a family member up till this point, and now they need it back. I checked on rentals, 179.99 per week!!!! not paying that.

ouch..................u shoulda kept 1 until the car actually arrived bro! did u not read all the threads here about the DBC misinformation......

i think calling ur dealer about a loaner deal sounds like a great idea! or rent Vibe!

I've tried that, their insurance won't allow them to "Lend" a vehicle. It was just odd that is was scheduled to be loaded and then randomnly picked from shipping status to QC. Knowing that was gonna happen, i wouldn't have sold both.

according to DBC today, it was pulled in Oshawa. Dealer got invoice on 5/19 as well.

Buy a cheap $500 beater car from craigslist.com to get you through until your Camaro shows up. It may be ugly but you can always resell it on craigslist once your Camaro arrives or even better, trade it in to your dealer and tell him you expect full retail blue book for it since you had to wait so long for your Camaro.

Sucks that your car ended up in Area51.
