my dealer told me my car was shiped on 6/9/09 to texas, does anyone knows how long does this take for this event.
do thay transpors on weekends too.

No one knows it can take a couple days or you get stuck in limbo. Some people have there cars stuck in transport, some get it right away.

10-14 days is the normal time frame...IF nothing goes wrong.... like the train breaks down, mother nature intervenes or it falls into the Bermuda triangle!

It depends on where you live in Texas. I live on the northwest side outside houston and my car took 9 days to get to the dealership.

Yeah I'd say two weeks at the latest if and only IF everything goes smoothly. So definitely by the end of June you'll have your car!

Mine shipped 6/2. I am in Florida near Tampa. The estimated arrival at the place the rail car unloads is 6/16. The dealer says they only have 72 hours to deliver a sold unit in FL. I do not know if this State by State or just FL.
I am leaving on vacation on 6/17. I have cut it short and have all the paperwork, tinting, striping, ect already scheduled. I will pick up on 6/24 3:00pm.

Where at in Texas do you live...there could be a 3 day delay b/w if you live in North Texas or South Texas

I gather mine shipped with yours. My salesman said it should be here by Friday. I took my vacation last week. Good luck.

Our car shipped May 22nd and we are still waiting with no end in sight. Our dealer said last Tuesday it would be here in two days, but GM customer service said on Friday it's still sitting at a railyard in Missouri. We thought surely it would be here by now. But no!

Dealer Is in ths south of Houston Tx does that make a difference

What part of west Texas? Cars to El Paso go thru Santa Rosa NM. Dealer told me the 6 they have gotten in so far have taken ten days.
Soooo barring problems mine should be here by this Thur. or Fri..

Due to a major screwup by GM our car was diverted to a Missouri dealer from our Texas dealer and shipped to Missouri where it has been sitting in a railyard lot for two weeks+. Supposedly GM is fixing the problem, but no one can even tell us how or when our car will ever get to TX. We are stuck nightmare that we can't seem to wake up from!

We live in the Midland/Odessa area. All our dealer's other cars were shipped on RR to Arlington and trucked west.
