600hp-lpe would you like to run less rubber up front in your next autocross or are you happy with your 315/30/18s square setup?

I am always open to suggestions.. What do you have in mind?

It's not exactly square..
315/30/18 is the front tire.. the rear is a 335/30/18... Hoosier R6 tires.

I just scrubbed them in at the end of last year.. I was still pushing a little. You suggested I back off from full hard to the soft setting on the front swaybar.. I havn't had a chance to try that yet...

Talk to me. I'm listening...

I ran 28 lbs front, 31 lbs rear.

I don't have a pyrometer for temp. (yet).

Measured before each run.

Front tires creep up by 3 lbs. after the 1st run of the day
Rears increase by 3.5 lbs. after 1st run.

It's less each time after 2nd, 3rd,4th runs.

I check them after each run and bleed them back down to where I want to run them. after 5 runs or more, they are warmed up and maintain a constant pressure.

I was joking becuase some seem to think you can't fit rubber that large up front. I think you're setup for your power is just about dead nuts perfect.

I know I hit 68-70 mph around a 200' skid pad at a test and tune day, before I slid the WHOLE car sideways...

That sure was fun! Too bad I don't have video of that!

Do you have to have those specific forgeline wheels to have your special offset? 10.5 up front does sound pretty bad ass.

The offset is the key. Dave, the owner of Forgeline, did custom fit the wheels. You can contact Dave by sending a PM to Forgeline from this forum. Forgeline makes some of the lightest strongest wheels available. I trust my life to Forgeline and Bridgestone.

I just did. I do like the wheels you have and on there website I could get them gunmetal with a polished lip. Something about having 10.5 all around sounds better then having 22's.
