After 3 TPW changes car was built week of 11/21. Dealer showed me on his computer it is still sitting at the factory in Lansing. He said he can't pull up the window sticker until it gets invoiced. No ETA yet.

Ordered a ‘23 ZL1 6 speed in vivid last week. Hope it gets built! I ordered a Tahoe Z71 from the same dealer on 2-8-22. Built 5-17-22 and got it 6-2-22. Hope it’s similar for the Camaro!

Glad to see you got it back and it running again. I had a similar thing happen to my 2011 2SS I had, one of the coolant hoses was cross threaded from the factory and just leaked everywhere overnight in my garage. Had it all taken care of at the dealership and kept that one for almost 8 years!

Ordered ZL1 1LE Rapid Blue Manual July 5th and order still is in "not yet accepted" state. Does anyone know if this is normal, or my dealer is fooling me? They said it might take around 12 months GM to accept my order.

Unfortunately this means your dealer has no allocation and is waiting for one. There is no guarantee they will ever receive one, so you may be better off finding one with an allocation, especially if you aren't even #1 in the line for allocations at the ordering dealer (which IMO you should ask them about).

From what I read, ZL1 1LE volumes are much less than current demand in these (likely) last years of production, and there is no way to predict these timelines, so just waiting and hoping isn't the best strategy here.

Thank you for the reply! I just emailed them and will make sure I won't get deceived.

Is there a way to know which dealer has an allocation? When I ordered they said they could get one and after these many months we are still on the same page. Do you know any dealer on the east coast who can get an allocation? I'll be willing to drive accross the country if there's a dealer who can order one for me.

My 2023 2SS 1LE arrived at the dealership today. 8 months and one week of patience has paid off.

Anyone interested in a 2016 2SS with 38,000 miles in great shape?

Everyone's life would be much simpler if we have that information. Most people here are on multiple dealer waitlists and hoping to get an allocation in the coming months.

What I learned and you could do this. If they say they have it. Do this. You can ask them to show you their Shipment report(next 60 days of Allocations), and show You their Final placement by week report, Show You their present preliminary order request report. On the Dealer DOSP system left hand corner is where their Allocation number is indicated. Ask them to show it to you. If they won't or don't, then you might have a better idea whether they have one.

Go too the Constraints thread DlyansZLE. Look at GearheadSS post starting #500. He shows what the system (DOSP) looks like and the number of allocations. This is what the dealers use to order cars from GM.

My TPW was 11/14 and I still have no ETA as well. My salesperson said it is still sitting in Lansing too. I need a rental car until mine comes in but I can't get one through the dealership until they get an ETA... If you hear anything or get an update please let me know

In a similar situation. Mine is showing as "bayed" since last month. Delivery was set for 11/26, then pushed to 12/3, then 12/14. Now it's currently set for 12/27. Not sure why its just sitting: missing a part or waiting on transport. But it sucks. Car is a 1ss 1LE manual rapid blue

It took my dealer 3.5 months to get allocation and ate only dealer in the area that finally got one. TPW late Jan so we will see how it plays out. I’m in no rush just want it before they say they are done and it’s over.
