Read my spark plugs!

This is after 20k miles. Not sure if is normal but the threading had engine oil when I took the plugs out. The brown spot you see on the thread is not a burn mark but engine oil.

Does it look normal to you guys for 20k mile worth of driving??

A fouled plug is caused by short distance driving. Most cars run rich at cold start then lean out as the car starts to warm up. If you constantly drive your car before it reaches normal operating temperature, you'll foul your plugs,This is normal for me

Mine were slightly cleaner than those, but most of my daily drive is hiway.

That's what everyone seem to think. Maybe cylinder 2 injector could be faulty?

looks very normal for a car that drives short distances regularly, and you'll get rid of the excess oil by adding a catch can.

i cant tell if its oil or is the car is just running a little rich the AFR's

i know you said they had oil , but with that milleage i would not expect oil, unless there is blow by issues, or you may need a catch can oil maybe getting through the PCV system thats hooked on the intake

Since Camaro5 offered such awesome insight on the above plugs, would anyone be willing to check mine out? These have 10,000 miles in my 427. The car always gets fully warmed up but has trouble starting after it's been run and shut off.

Further, my 76 Blazer with a 350 has the same problem. It's plugs are below. Is it possible that these two vehicles are running too rich/lean?
