I been over there, mainly 35-55 crowd.. Most of the nastiness seems to originate from us 5th gen that seem hellbent on justifying staying with the 5th gen w/ complaints about the look of the newer car... I loved my 5th gen! But... Love the 6th more.

Why bother modding when you can buy one of these.
Everybody what's to individualize but with that buy one and just do the cosmetics.

I would like to buy a 6th Gen but my 5th Gen is almost paid off and I can't swing the cash to buy a 1SS, let alone a 2SS ....... so I'll just window shop every now and then ....

I went to the dealer the second time to look at the car and get my supercharger replaced.
First time I saw the car, the rear end looked bad to me. LOVED the front cockpit.

Second time, I actually got pissed off, LOL. I can't be the only one.
If I wanted a TWO SEATER I would buy a vette, I NEED a back seat!!!
My 9 yr old can't fit back there!! Only way is if she keeps her feet on the seat.

My dealer has about 12 on the lot. Salesman said that other "lookers" left because of the lack of a back seat.
Were the disciples involved with the 6th gen at all?

I don't think the 6th Gen will sell as well as the 5th gen did.

I know folks are gonna say that it's a bargain for what you get but I just can't part with that much money for a Camaro 1SS/2SS and I even see the a ton of 2016 Camaro 2LTs pushing the $40,000 mark, getting too much for me ...

As far as the back seat thing, if you don't already own a family sedan, then might not be time for a sports car. The back seat of the 5th gen offers nothing more than the newer Camaro. No room is no room, either way... Have your wife scoot her seat up... My wife is short, so my son won't notice any diff regardless of gen.

Back seat room, is a huge difference between 5th and 6th, Ask my daughter!
LOL

Really, there is a major difference where you put your feet.
My 9yr old and 13yr old fit just fine in the 5th Gen.

It's less room, but the point being, just as in my brothers 4th gen, No room for a family in Camaros.. The under 2" diff is still moot. If not for my wife's Lexus sedan, I wouldn't have bought my 5th gen or the 6 I'll be driving soon. It's more of a "me" car.

The 6th gen has the look of a car that is the end result of all the complaints made about the 5th Gen. Plus the Japanese looking gaping grill and side parking lights are features that shut out aftermarket add-ons. Not to mention the hand-brake delete. Nor am I a fan of push button start.

When I traded my "Kia" Optima turbo for my 5th gen.. I was kinda laughing at having to use a key to turn my car on, I also missed having air cooled leather seats. Some of things I wish my 5th gen had, the Kia 2.0T was fun for a few years, but once my wife got a Sedan, I knew it was time for me to go back to a coupe.

Thank goodness Chevy improved on the 5th gen. Great car for its time

Could you elaborate on 6th gen parking lights? You mean the side markers? They shut out aftermarket add-ons?

a large portion of the people here have never owned a prior generation Camaro . if they think the 6thgen is uncomfortable they'd be in for a real shock with the prior 3 gens.
but again, they love the 5th and want it produced forever more. weight, handling , fuel economy, CAFE be damned.

I guessed younger because GM is targeting millennials with the new generation design. If purchasers are 35-55 years old, there might be lower than expected sales, because it would mean the same demographic as the 5th generation is buying & millennials aren't biting.

The salesman doesn't know his product - surprise. It's not considered a four-seater, it's built as a 2+2.

Have a gen5 ZL1 and it only took be about 5min of sitting in a Gen6 to be able to feel just how much better the interior is in every way. On the other hand, why do so many feel that they need to justify their purchase to complete strangers? You guys know what you got. A great car. It really doesn't matter in the end.
