Not sure where to place this, but streaks on door plastic after Armor all

I cleaned my door panels with armor all, about two weeks ago and saw this: (see pics below). As soon as wiped the armor all on the streaks appeared. I was hoping that they would go away, but as you can see they are still there. I did not spray it on the door and let it drip and dry. I sprayed a cloth and wiped the door panel. None of my other plastic parts look like this.

Sorry Mods, wasnt sure where to put it and wanted as much feedback as possible. Is this a warranty issue? Seems there was something hidden in the panel.

I can't speak with authority, but it looks like some releasing agent or other compound residue was left on the panels prior to you using the Armour All on it. Appears they don't like each other.

Clean it with warm soapy water thoroughly, then re-Armour All them, bet it'll all be o.k.

Did you order the 'Subdued Zebra Interior Accent' package?

Ghost stripes maybe?

Looks like you should be able to clean it off. Maybe take it to the dealer and ask them to clean it so when they can't, it'll be more convincing. Good luck.

looks like the residue from getting your windows tinted. I ran into the same thing and used Meguire's interior products to clean it up. They had two kinds one that left a really shiny finish and that had a matte finish. Hope this helps

Yep, my door panel looked like this after getting windows tinted too. I just kept puting more armor-all on and wiping until it went away. It did take longer than I expected...but you'll be good to go.

Shhhhhhhh...was a special package for my car, wasn't supposed to let anyone know.

Guess we can close this thread out problem solved. Thanks for the great help everyone and for saving me a embarrassing trip to the dealer.

The day I use Armour All on my car is the day I own a Prius.

I used to use Amor All a long time ago, but grew to dislike it in favor of other products. I still use it, but I dilute it in some water (50/50 or so) and use it on the plastic liners in the wheel wells. I do not know about the rest of the members, but I really like Lexol's product Vinylex. They appear to be doing vinyl (cleaning and protecting) as well as they do for leather.

BRP has a plastic/vinyl cleaner that is awesome . Does not collect dust nor is it slippery . Go to your local SeaDoo/ SkiDoo dealer and try it . part# 413 711 200 . Does great on tires also .
