It happenes to the best of us. With these tires/wheels if you just touch a curb there's damage. No tire sticking out to protect the wheel.

Thats not bad. I hit a curb in my mom's Range Rover the other night, and it's pretty bad. She hasn't found out yet...

well, glad to hear im not the only one, lol, never hit curb, been YEARS since i had clipped curb on anything, had my car for about a year and a half, went on deployment for about 8 months and sure enough when i got back did it 2x once on the front wheel @ my in-laws place, and once on the back wheel at my place.....

I also made the mistake of running through a car wash at a shell station, those stupid rails you have to drive through are not wide enough and they TORE the paint off the wheel, literally when i got out and was hand drying the car off there was a chunk hanging off the rim

That'll buff out as Stieger said. Here's some pictures of the damage that I did to my rim for your comfort:

Had a similar amount of damage on one of my rims. Most of the "ugly" comes out when you clean the area and then I just used a little clearcoat touch up paint and a little wet sanding, followed by a mild polish and it's almost invisible now.

IwantOne2's pics are a great example of how this stuff can be fixed.

Had mine about 4 days, hadn't got the snow tires in yet. Came down my street after it had snowed, slid past my house, backed up, went to stop and it slid over and just touched the curb, small scrap!! :(
