68' vinyl top

I have a 68 RS/SS big block that is all numbers matching and just had the vinyl top redone! The seam on the pillars is facing up which seems to me would catch water. I think it's wrong but the installer is sure that it is correct for a 68' please post any pictures or insight if you have an original 68' with a vinyl top. Thanks guys !

Thanks Mr. Twisty, but I need some pics of the front windshield pillars. The 69' does not have vinyl on the pillars where the 67' and 68' do.

Here's a photo that looks to show a seam about 2" down... looks like it may be facing down. Hard to tell

Hey thanks Kevin , that's the kind if pictures I need. My installer is still insisting that the kit he ordered comes pre seamed for the pillars and it is the correct way. I disagree! Thanks again !
