Here's the scan of the actual Cert, on heavy stock:
I'm pretty sure this is going to be the thing you want to see whenever you are buying a used Z/28. Too many Z/28 exterior conversions incoming...

It makes me wonder though. Why doesn't the Camaro Team give Z/28 some new body panels to look unique, like how 911 differs from Cayman, so there won't be a lot of exterior converted "Z/28's" diluting the reputation?

Mine came today. 2015 car, October build, I bought in December off the lot. Very cool packaging/presentation and quite a nice touch. Makes me enjoy the car that little bit more.

Though the certificate is legit, it wont be the defining document that's says "yup its real". It's not like PHS documents or Galen Govier paperwork. I say this because the VINs are sequential, so a bolt on clone won't hold much clout after a quick peek at the cowl vin. Then look at the rotors or pop the hood for the few other clues.

I hear you about having more specific body panels, unfortunately it wouldn't have made sense considering it is a production ending model. Now had they done this back in 2010, a solid argument could be made for model specific body panels. IMO the body kit is specific enough for me.

Im not worried about the clones......and from the sounds of it that aero kit seems to either be not available or constraint. Plus, cloners have to spend a ton to get it just like the z setup.Either way Im cool from v-6 to another z member, all are cool and welcome to the party in my book.

get over the unique body crud. From my viewpoint...The z28 main feature that makes it unique is the 427 motor. It is only factory 5th gen with the option. The Zl1 is unique since it is the only factory supercharged camaro. In the long future present what is going to be cared about is the numbers matching motor.

I have 2014 #140, and haven't heard or seen anything about this. I'm really hoping someone gets confirmation from Chevy that this is being done for every owner...

I factory ordered my car and took delivery June 2014. I did receive the poster signed by the plant yet never heard of this card being sent to the house.
