OnStar Fin

Although it would look better without the fin...it's a necessity with the OnStar system. Sure, it's an eyesore on the coupe but it's one of those things we're going to have to live with.

Here is my question...where will it be on the 'vert? It obviously can't be in the same place.

If OnStar is offered on the coupe, I'm certain it will also be an option on the 'vert.

That being said, I'd guess that the antenae might be located on the area directly in front of the "cut line" for the trunk.

+1 Isn't that where it is on the 'Vette. It would be nice if those antenna are as small as possible.

I'm trying to find a pic. of the "fin" on a C6 'vert, but as for the coupe, it's located on the "roof panel" behind the targa top on the C6 coupe. (My brothers C6 has it there.)

Anybody know if there is a cutout below the fin (coupe)or is it solid sheetmetal? I would not use onstar so I would like to remove it. Usually they use that double sided adhesive that is easily removed with heat.

I'll just remove it sand it down and repaint if once my mandatory onstar service is done. make the thing look 10 x better.

on the Corvette it's actually a big black box located behind the center rearview on the windshield. Coupe Convertible and Z06 (trust me i'm sitting in front of like 10 right now)
