what is up with ford guys
on friday and sat nights we have cruise in and i like to take my z and talk to all guys and gals about there cars if they have a nice car i always tell them great car i dont care what make they are i like all different cars but still like my camaro the best for some reason there are always more mustangs than camaros so i am talking to a ss owner and some of the mustang guys walk by and one guy looks at our camaros and comes out with why do they still make those shi**** cars they will never bet a boss 302 so i wanted tosay something but just there for agood time i dont know mutch about the boss 302 but stock for stock no add ons will the boss beat the ss or the ZL1 just looking for info for the next time sorry for any bad spelling

Boss has nothing on the Z. The SS would probably have a bit of a time keepin up though.

sounds to me like Rustang guys are just like Subaru guys... they think their cars are elite.
I used to get laughs when i'd pull my beater 1990 Eclipse GSX up next to a Hotrod Vette or Rustang and get laughs... little did they know, i was pushing 650awhp and trapped 130's in the 1320. I always liked the attitude of Camaro owners, they generally arent bitches like the Mustang guys.

Edit: usually the older mustang owners tend to be more respectful...it's the younger crowd that acts all high and mighty.
But yes, a ZL1 would beat the boss

It's not just Ford guys, or Yankee fans per se
 ...it's with any group. There's always one in the crowd. It's what makes the world go 'round as they say. Just ignore the ignorant. I'm sure it happens within our ranks as well, as in any fan base. Keep your chin up bro, and keep on smillin'! It's not worth the time of day to respond to that. Take the high road.

I got this kind of thing when I was driving a Nissan and when I was driving a Ford from Chevy owners and others....
Its just the way some people are, its like how some people react when you say bad things about GM or Ford on the various sites, you would think you insulted their mother, like they have a real stake in either and a bad comment is a personal insult. I believe its the clique menatality at work...you aint like me then your an idiot kind of thinking.... |
