Need Help
so i have a 2012 1ss/rs and in about a year ill have enough money to buy the turbo i have been wanting.
Well my wife came up to me and asked instead of getting a turbo would i rather trade up and get the 1LE, ZL1, or if they do the camaro with the ls7 motor get that. i like to go to the strip but its not to often. Would it be best to stick with my car i have now and get all the suspension end everything else and put on it or trade up so i can gave the better suspension and everything else already on the car? Thanks i hope this makes sense. |

Don't know the financial situation around your 2012, but if you can make it happen, I'd say trade up. She's giving you awesome choices there! Lol

I say keep it. Put away the same amount of money you would have paid for the ZL1 and a year later use that difference you saved up to buy yourself some awesome performance upgrades.

Would getting the 1LE be a good idea I would be able to have the better suspension and better fuel pump and then put the turbo on that? I have been seeing you can bugs 1LE for just a about 2000 more than what've paid for mine.

Plenty of good options to think about. I'd say it really all depends on what your goals are for the car, and what the price difference will be if you trade up.

I think your wife needs to talk to, or rub off on, my wife!! You sir are a lucky man. If I were lucky enough to get mine to quit complaining about every little mod, I would go the LS7 route! There's no replacement for displacement... and I see the irony with that statement given my current engine. Size isn't always everything!
