R1 Scratched Rotors
Hey all, anyone familiar with R1 eLine diamond slotted rotors that could advise if it's normal to have scratches that are noticeable with your fingernail fresh out of the box? They don't appear to go completely through but better safe than sorry.
Not the best pic I know, but hopefully it helps you see what I'm talking about. |

Shouldn't be an issue, but if you are not happy contact R1 and have them replace your rotors. R1 has excellent customer service shouldn't be an issue. I get plenty of compliments on my rotors.

Looks like I lied. Here is the Driver side front and rear. Passenger rear doesn't seem to have anything.

Functionally, those scratches do not appear deep enough to matter and should disappear quickly in normal use, but they are new and the scratches should no be there.

Thanks for the info, as long as they are not going to impact functionality (Read: I won't die because of them) I'm not really concerned about it, I know there isn't 100% QC from every company and a blemish that is going to disappear within the first week's drive to work doesn't upset me.
