Looking for a custom grill bowtie emblem
Ok folks I am looking for a bowtie grill emblem that is really thin so that it looks like it is almost flush with the grill. I like the bowtie, but to me it looks too bulky and thick. I am wondering if I can get one somewhere that basically is as thin as the classic "SS" emblems you find on the first gen Camaros.
Then again I just live within minutes of Ricks (now Ecklers) 1st gen Camaros, I could just stop in there and see what they might have. If any of you all know of a place where I can get one it would be greatly appreciated, and as an extra bonus it would be cool if I can get one painted IBM ( a guy can dream can't he?) If I cannot find one I will most likely just fabricate one and paint it myself, it would be a cool project for me.

Why not just get the SS emblem in blue man? I know this is not what you wanted to hear, BUT lol I think the SS looks good even on the heritage grills. My guess would be to check with the shop first, and if not like you said it would be a good project for ya Us camaro guys are always lookin for good projects right?

Here is a bowtie off the 69 Camaro I might be able to work with~ here is one off of a 68, this is the same one I had on my 68, it might be cool to do something like to pay homage to it~

Nice fingerprint! lol...no seriously, ok my bad for not seeing you had an LT....ok...with that said, the 69 bowtie looks cool, especially if you plan to keep touches of chrome on yours ...now if you can only cut it slimmer!

I just might get that 69 bowtie, I am pretty handy with the dremmel tool, but I am sort of torn between that and the 68 bowtie because it gives the car a touch of something from 68 which is what I used to have. Please excuse the crappy photo it is all I can dig up for now~
