Tim - you missed 2012-2SS as going and from my list CoriJoe as a maybe.
Question: do you want to rally closer to the show and roll in together? If so, where and at what time do you want us to meet you there?

There are a lot of big box stores on route 6 in Seekonk not far from the speedway, Let me see which one will be best.

There is a Home Depot at 95 Highland Ave, Seekonk, MA 02771. That is route 6, the same road that Seekonk Speedway is on. There is plenty of parking there. I would love to post a map but I haven't figured that one out yet.

Still trying to wrap my mind around this six hours thing. Been to a couple shows, paid to park, to get in, and then leisurely walked around the entire event even shooting the breeze with some of the folks. Hour, hour and half tops, so I can imagine really milking it and stretching it two hours tops. But what then? Four more hours? I'm a keep busy kind not big on just hanging out. Are there sponsor events doing mods? I could go for something like that, learning/doing some sort of mods. Or driving lessons/tips like how to do a Rockford or J-Turn. A detailing booth, hands-on, or do some folks bring mods to do at the shows. Surrounded by all this expert knowledge seems foolish not to be getting assistance from those in the know. Can I bring a catch can or my sequential taillights and get help with the install from those whom have been there done that. Just would seem a waste to not put all that experience and expert knowledge to use.
Now I could go for an event like that, get together detail a couple cars or do a couple mods. That sounds like fun. I definitely agree with Jay that its gotta be an amazing sight to see this marathon line of Camaros pulling into the lot! I just like/need to stay busy. |

Gates open at 8am. show starts at 9.
My suggestion is a 9am roll in, not too early. Plus more people to see us. As far as what times. We need to nail down the rally points first then figure out how far they are from the track. I do not know the area, if paul says Home Depot is good go with that. Then figure out how far away the track is from that point. Id say 8:30ish at the final. gives us all time to get ready to roll in. But it depends on how far away HD is from seekonk speedway?

Ok lets use the Home Depot Address Paul gave us as the Final Rally Point.
The Home Depot is 2 miles away (5 Min) so that will be perfect. Ill update post 1 as we go and nail down the times. Since HD is only 5 min away we should be there for 8:45 and roll out by 9am. (The later the rally times, the better chances of people joining from long distances)

In google, under Edit you can capture the aerial view that you have on your screen. So get it how you want zoomed, turned whatever. Then you can open an excel spreadsheet or PowerPoint blank file and paste it on your new file. Then I just use the drawing tools and stuff to do the labeling. When you're done, under File you should see export and save the file as a jpg. Now you're all set to attach it to your post.
