Rock hit car...two chips and possible dent

UGGH!

I called insurance, it's covered without costing me any deductible.

My question is, I've only had my car since June 30th and not sure if the paint has fully cured yet?

I'm going to go to a body shop and/or my dealer to see what they recommend I do...but just wanted to get the thoughts from the masses...

It's right above the windshield...

Man, I'm feeling SICK!

people argue all the time on here about the paint being cured...seems like it's cured right out of the factory now

A wild turkey was sitting on the roof of my car earlier. I wish I had a shotgun. I didn't want to chase him off because if he started running, he may have scratched it all up. I slowly walked up to him and he hopped down but he put two faint scratches on the top between the roof ditch moulding and the passenger side window. Nothing a little buff won't take out...but I know what you mean! My heart sunk when I saw the scratches!

Call up your dealer to get a touch up kit which should include Clear Gloss and the paint of your car's color and take it to your body shop to have them repair it.

Don't feel sick, a little chip can be fixed and no one will ever notice it once it's been fixed.

Do all auto manufacturers do it this way? I had heard that "they" were using UV reactive paint and cured them via UV rays.

Yeh, the paint is cured at the factory, it's just so soft it almost feels wet.
