ZL1 VIN question
Hey everyone I got my Vin yesterday from a ZL1 ordered and the last 4 numbers is 7414. So my question is that mean that I got the 7414 for this year? I did not know they made that many Zl1's this year?

An earlier post here guessed that the number of ZL1's made this model year would be around 8,000. Your production number is somewhat consistent with that. Interesting.

The MY2012 and MY2013 have sequential VIN numbers for that Model Year only. Sequential Vin Numbering for MY2013 started over at 0001.
MY2012 Sequential VIN Format: 2G1FS1EP*C980XXXX (XXXX = Numbers 0001 through 1885) MY2013 Sequential VIN Format: 2G1FS1EP*D980XXXX (XXXX = Numbers 0001 through 7,414 "So far") This means there are over of 9,299 ZL1s from both model years combined that have been produced and no Sequential VIN numbers higher than, 7,414 at last count.

I heard there's like 20 of those. ZL1 registry has some listed.
But pretty sure its 1971 of them for 2012. And at least 3 can be documented as being destroyed already

What about 'em? I was only quoting numbers for regular production ZL1's with Sequential VIN's.

1,885 Sequentially numbered including cars "exported" to Canada. The remaining 86 were CTF and show cars.
