Air Vents
Is it possible to remove the dash air vents. We had major body work done after an accident and they must of ran the blower while there was Orange paint in the air. You can see it in all the dash vents, L, R & Middle Vents. I would like to be able to remove the vents and get into the duct work and clean out, also scrub the vents grille.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=244655 I just did this on my 2013 ZL1. A few things to note: 1. The center AC/Heater vent can be removed without removing the bezel around the radio. 2. To remove the dash trim, pop off the side panel of the dash on the passenger side to expose the trim edge. Use a trim tool on the edge to get the removal started. Once it's started, you can use your hands to pop out the rest of the trim piece. 3. The inner screw on the side vents is a real PIA to reach. I ended up needing a deep 7mm socket and a socket wrench extension to get them out. On the passenger side I went up through the glove box. The driver side is even more cramped. Good luck and feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
