It would be good if AAC could document an install & post pics here. The instructions I got seemed like they were for a Chrysler wing install, not our bowtie

They give you instructions...

1) heat stock bowtie
2) cut a good length of dental floss or fishing line and slide it between the bowtie and trunk lid to seperate the bowtie from the trunk. You will have to maneuver around the posts on the back of the bowtie.
3) use rubber wheel or goo-gone and elbow grease to remove remnantsa of 3M adhesive
4) run wires through appropriate hole
5) clean area thoroughly
6) remove red backing from AAC lighted bowtie
7) stick bowtie to trunk lid where old bowtie used to be
8) follow instructions supplied to determine which color wire to connect to vehicle wiring harness

bonus: if you use the dual-intensity circuit and attach the "brake wire" (which I believe is the red wire) lead to the brake wire on the right-hand side of the car, your bowtie will blink with your right turn signal but not with the left turn signal. If this is not desired, you will need to tap into the brake wire for the third brake light that's in the rear deck. This is a little more involved, and access isn't exactly simple. There is a write-up for this somewhere, but you'll have to use the search button to find it because I forgot

If I remember, when I get home I will try to upload the correct istallation instructions that they sent me...

The 3rd brake light has a white wire (power) and black wire (ground). How would you go about connecting the dual intensity circuit?? I know the single red wire goes to the red wire on the bowtie. But on the other side of the circuit theres another red and an orange wire together. How do i connect those??

You don't have to connect for dual circuit, i just connected mine to tail light circuit, it comes on when lights comes on, i did that install 2 years ago and still lights up! i didn't want to connect it dual circuit (coming on with brake lights) felt it wouldnt last as long!
