PFADT springs home garage DIY install !!!

2010 CAMARO DROP SPRINGS PROJECT
PFADT 1.25 INCH LOWERING SPRINGS HOME GARAGE INSTALL CAMARO 1SS
( WE DID THIS IN THE GARAGE WITH ONLY SIMPLE HAND TOOLS AND A CORDLESS IMPACT WRENCH SAVED US $$$ IN LABOR)
LOW PROFILE JACK AND JACK STANDS ARE A MUST
WE DID 2 CARS THIS DAY IN LESS THAN 6 HOURS
WE STARTED WITH THE FRONT

FIRST STEP LOOSEN UP THE LUG NUTS BUT DONT TAKE OFF
SAFELY JACK UP THE CAR AND REST IT ON JACK STANDS
TAKE OFF THE TIRES

NOTE: we didnt use a spring compressor we didnt really find too much tension in the springs although both our cars did vary, to be safe you can use a ratchet strap if you dont have a spring compressor. I put pressure down on the strut and my buddy undid the reatining nut or screwed it on

NOW FOR THE REARS

WILL BE GETTING AN ALIGNMENT SOON....

THE CARS RIDE IS AMAZING SINCE THE DROP IM VERY HAPPY

SPECIAL THANKS TO MY BROTHER AND PARTNER IN CRIME JIM1SS

It needs to be moved or recopied to the DIY section. There's a TON of DIY's for most things you can do to your car, in there. Great pics and captions.

Sure you could. It is honestly a lot easier then it seems when you look at it on paper. Just make sure you have the tools you need ahead of time and have some patience and you will surprise yourself.

great post. I installed the stage 2 kit Friday. It wasn't at all difficult. I was lucky to have a lift available.

I honestly didnt think it would be as stark a difference, it looks like the car was meant to look that way,
also I thought the ride would be harsh it isnt at all

If you don't have the sways, i'd HIGHLY suggest you get them. You'll really feel the difference then.
