I hate Mitsubishi!!!!

I think they left a time bomb in my SUV, set to go off at 109k miles....

The radiator overheated and had to be replaced ($800). Then, it seemed to overheat again, but really, it was just the gauge cluster - when the temp gauge topped out, it fried the circuit board in the dash. That had to be replaced ($400). Now, the tranny needs to be rebuilt - when the radiator overheated, so did the tranny (and the fried circuit board meant that no lights came on telling me the tranny temp was high), and the fluid burned off, so the tranny's guts are ruined and it needs to be rebuilt. ($1990, IF the torque converter is still good - if not, $2390) ALL of this over a period of about 10 days.... AFTER I did my Christmas shopping, and have very little spare money.
The happy part of this story is that Ladybug and I have had some good bonding time

... Just wish the weather was warmer so I don't have to stress about frosty roads.

@LBM - Oh my gosh how frustrating :( I feel the same way about cell phones - they set them to work just long enough to get past the warranty period but months short of any renewal.

I haven't had any blood work done in a few years. I'm not a diabetic which is good since I have PCOS which screws around with my body enough:( I show signs of hyperlipidemia. I'm sooo confused???

Noticed the name of your phone, Lori. Mine is also an HTC..love it ! Woot woot !

My daughter had her wisdom teeth extracted this afternoon. I was more of a nervous wreck than she was. She...was calm. All went very well. The oral surgeon was awesome ! She is now full of her meds and resting well.

Ruby-- So sorry to hear about your loss. Keeping you and yours in my thoughts.

Ladybug- That really sucks about the SUV!! It's always something, isn't it? :( I've been putting some money into some Jeep repairs for my winter car. Luckily my bestie's hubby is a great mechanic and helped out with the shocks and stuff. So frustrating!

Sarah- Glad you made it back safely. Hugs to you sweetie!!

And for all us hardworking amazing ladies-- 2012 WILL be better!! I'm sure of it.
