I have to admit that I love animals but seeing pictures of how many of you own pets and love them just as well, is very heartwarming and will always make me smile. They are ALL so sweet !

My baby, Majix. Answers to baby as well.

Our 3 year old English Bulldog, Jasmine. I tried to rotate the last pic, but it wouldn't save it.

I went back and found a bunch of our previous pet picture threads.

Now they are all in one spot.

Both dogs were rescued and we love them immensely. I finally took some new pics.

Thanks! they are pretty good. There are a couple things with this breed people should know. They are howlers and howl at everything... Great for alerting us but not good if you need to keep em quiet... Also they Have to be on a leash... About the best I've been able to do is to be able to have them walk the 20 or so feet from the back door to the dog run gate... And I'm about the only one that can do it without them taking off..... Otherwise they just can't stay on your hip. once they get a scent. they're gone. It's pretty funny to watch them take off... Noses down the whole time... Makes it easier to catch em but still.

Other than that. They are awesome... Hammy is pretty close to 10 and he's showing his age. doesn't run or play as much as he used to... Not sure what we'll do when he's gone... Ritzy should be with us for a while.

Yay for adopting rescues!

Pix below of our foster doggie Lewis, who may be adopted tonight! We adore him, so I cannot imagine that the potential adopter (who as been approved by our rescue group) won't love him, too.

Pix from this afternoon. He's been laying there looking at how pretty it is outside today!

Very cool.

We got Hammy from a local friend who actually was the one who rescued him from his owner. Ritzy we got from the Coonhound Rescue. Once the kids are older we may also start fostering dogs. Very cool!

That would be awesome of you. I don't know a rescue group that couldn't use more foster homes.

I adopted my German Shepherd from a rescue group. I didn't understand how his foster mom could give him up, but she told me that she was so excited to know that I'd have him forever, and that she could then take in another one to help. It's sad to see them go, but very rewarding to be able to help them find their forever homes. And we get lots of love and hugs and fun from them along the way.

While the fosters are here, they are family...this is Lewis laying on top of our Zeus who is in turn laying on top of my Kevin. Usually Lewis gets the spot right on Kevin's lap.

O...I see my Pom's on the back of the sofa. lol I adopted her straight from the shelter.

Here she is on Christmas day:
