We will figure something out. I'm still good for this weekend, so its to everybody else. I realize its a holiday weekend, so if others have family plans already no biggie.

Group name suggestions

We could become the Cheese Country Camaros
bowtie brigade
Souther WI Camaro Companions
to just name a few I also found the history of the name Camaro
Finally, the car was introduced to the press as the Camaro, considered to be a good name because nobody knew what it meant. Chevrolet produced an old French dictionary showing that the word meant "friend" or "companion", but Ford found an alternate meaning in an old Spanish dictionary-"a small, shrimp-like creature."The automotive press had a good laugh over that, and an even bigger one when one journalist found yet another meaning-"loose bowels." It didn't take long for the laughter to stop after the introduction of the stunning 1967 Camaro!

I actually like the first two, they aren't bad.

This weekend is out, have plans to go camping and the Bee is still in his auto cocoon, trying to wait for a couple rainfalls to wash all the salt off the roads. Have Camaro Fever bad can't wait for the snow to stop flying so I can.

I say April 13-14 weekend is looking the best right now to get our first gathering with Camaros. Current forecast is 60s, and its supposed to rain a few times before then.

Unfortunately I won't be available. We'll be in Canada for the weekend.

Hey guys,
How does the 3rd weekend in April work? That would also be the best for me. Hoping we'd have some consistently good weather by then and more of the cars will be out and about.

The morning is out for me on that Saturday, unless anyone else wanted to go to Crystal Lake, IL. I am going with another guy from Beloit and a guy from Rockford to a Coffee and Cars event in the morning to support the Chicago 5th Gen group (it runs from 8am-10m). Depending where people want to meet though, I could talk to them (if Saturday works better for everyone) about maybe cruising north to meet from there. Our original plan was to just cruise back to Rockford on country roads.

Everybody else chime in...

Ok, Zip3151 and I are thinking about going to Milwaukee area Saturday for lunch. Serbs and Bolt, you still interested in meeting Saturday this weekend. Any suggestions on where we could meet if you are still interested?

I'm was thinking between 2 different areas.

New Berlin - Quaker Steak & Lube or The Charcoal Grille
Mukwonago - Fork in the Road, The Boneyard Pub & Grille or Culver's

Chime in if interested...

I will actually be doing the SC install at my brothers house Mukwonago. don't know if I can take a break or not...will be in a bit of a time crunch. if you guys do hit The Fork In The Road, or Boneyard maybe you could stop by for a beer. his house is about 5 minutes from The Fork In The Road which I highly recommend!

I'm from wittenberg, which is kinda near Wausau. I would defiantly be interested in a club since there really isn't much for clubs near me, only thing is that I am quite a ways north from you guys….
