I had a great time with everyone today. Thanks for the invite. I got to play with the mods that were done. I have some work to do in order to pull it all together. Till the next time.

People really need to be considerate of others at events like this. We're all out there to have fun and you never know who may be married to the woman driving the white Mustang convertible V6 with dual exhaust and other mods... hint, it's me!
I'm not going to call the guy out here, but, what was said in her presence was NOT appreciated whatsoever. If the conversation about whether or not she or her car "belonged" there or not was intended to be funny, it wasn't and I can't imagine the same would have been said had I been there at the time. She held her composure and decided it was better to simply avoid the conflict than respond but after hearing the whole story I wouldn't have blamed her for going off. She has put a lot of work into that car, the vast majority of it on her own in our driveway, and has every right to be proud of it.
We go out there to have a good time and no matter if the car is running a 20 or a 10, everyone paid their $$ to run their cars, not to take crap from anyone else.

Misogony is still pretty rampant in casual settings, especially in a boy's club. I am sorry to hear about your wife's troubles.

lolwut?! it's an open tnt day, not a camaro5 rental! whoever it was that said something so idiotic probably doesn't spend much time at a racetrack and is probably some check-book hotrodder anyway...probably some middle-aged prick that's only just now got into the car scene trying to sound cool to his other buddies. what a joke. good thing i wasn't there is all.

I think I saw her there on friday night when thirdgenbum and I went. That car was pretty sick. Not a big Ford guy but I give credit to good looking cars. What guy in his right mind would complain about a girl being at the track? Its actually a pretty big sausage fest lol you think they would be lining up to talk to her.

Yep I know how you feel. My wife drives a Shelby GT 500 and we just love cars. I went to the track in April for the first time ever with my camaro on the trailer and my wife followed with her mom in her mustang. While unloading my car I hear guys talking about my wife in her car in a vulgar way. I go to say something and my buddy holds me back because there was four of them which was smart after thinking about it. It ruined my whole evening.
Another think that pissed me off is first time done the track in my car ever I ran a 12.37. Yes it has 714 RWHP and I don't know how to drag it!!! Just there to have fun. While lining up for my second run and letting the engine cool with the hood up some guys walk by and say that car should be faster with the supercharger I most not know how to drive. No shit! My first time ever down a drag strip. I ran second pass at 11.74and just loaded the car because the entire night was ruined from the beginning.
I was going to come over Sunday and run with you guys but I didn't want to hear no shit I couldn't drive that we'll. I'm quite aware of that!

Nice passes! And I missed it :(

And I hate to see that little fiasco happened on a friendly outing ... that should of never happened. Looks like everyone was hangin out and having fun and it went down south. :(

I hope that doesn't happen again.

Well, I for one was glad you brought your wife. She was the only one I beat...

I really need to fix my tune.

Hey hysonmb. You did the right thing in bringing your wife. At least your proud enough of her to take her out of the house(not like most of the other guys)and enjoy a good day together. The ones doing the talking either have "NO" females in their lives or they're a shamed of the ones they have. Good job man,be proud , stand tall n bring her again.

Beescuz. No need to apologize. Just look at the posted Videos. I didn't see anyone kicking ass there n most of the times didn't beat the rookie times you posted and they had better hid when you get dialed in.

@chris. I just replaced with a stock tranny and converter, switched the pumpkin to 345s and added a tranny coolerand 160 thermostat. The engine tune is not lined up with the tranny tune yet. I need to get the tune loaded back in for the tranny, gears and engine to work in sync for power.
