Nah this color in person actually looks pretty cool... its not a girly pink its pretty much just like the Challenger SRT8... its def not for everyone but for those who like the "Different" Colors not the standard white black red silver... it will be a hit. Look at the Synergy Greens. They are highly Coveted because they are different they stand out ... and this color will stand out and they wont make that many of em so it will be rare .. another reason it will be highly coveted

Well from pics of Sonics I saw with the color the GM website version of the color is fairly close. It definitely has a pink hue kind of like the Challenger color.
BRM is a pretty nice blue. I never could find pics that depicted the Blue very well at all but here recently I'm starting to see more that you can definitely tell it's Blue. Still have my preference to IBM. Only way I would have considered a 2014 was if it was available in IBM. Hopefully the Ice Blue from the 2014 COPO finds it's way onto the palette chart or the new Aqua Blue on the C7

Kinda nice but it's not a color that'll hold up. Like that teal GM had, was pretty cool at first and now looks dated.

Interesting that they can make the case for Corvettes in beautiful Laguna Blue and Lime Rock Green. They keep telling us that Camaros don't sell in blue and they need a color that sells more. JUST HOW MANY PINK CAMAROS DO THEY THINK THEY'LL SELL? The Aqua name and horrible color samples doomed the ABM apparently, but how can they say a "blue" Camaro won't sell if they've never made one yet!!?!?!?!?!?!? (Discounting the $6000 premium for a Kinetic Blue Hot Wheels edition).
For historical record a medium blue (NO AQUA IN NAME OR COLOR) was one of the top sellers for all three years of first gens, in '68 and '69 Lemans Blue was second most popular. Below are the colors and percentages (pretty close by the way). However reds ARE number 1. 1967 Bolero Red #1@16.5 Marina Blue #4@10.5% 1968 Matador Red #1@12.0% Lemans Blue #2@11.0% 1969 Hugger Orange #1@12.0% Lemans Blue #2@11.5% Last edited by MLL67RSSS; 11-13-2013 at 09:26 AM. |

The only people coveting the purple/pink Camaros are...well, not going there.
The color-blind people/person working at GM that picks colors for Camaros needs to retire or something. Little to NO imaginations with the results I'm seeing. I don't care how you try to spin it, this shade of pink won't cut it. Might be cool with the women buyers. But do something original with the water colors GM. Quit trying to copy Challenger with the color palette. They tend to roll with dark as hell blue shades but don't offer something as neat as Kinetic blue, which contrary to whatever they TELL US, that the real story is that I'm betting it would sell higher than silver or that pathetic "settling" for blue ray.

Its different and I like to see new fresh colors. Cant wait to see a 1LE in the flesh that color. Reminds me of the furious fuscia challengers.

I don't need to suck anything up. I didn't mean saying the blue ray color itself was pathetic, I meant it was pathetic for GM to settle for blue ray as the only blue choice. Blue Ray's a subdued blue and does have cool effects in the sun, but there are also a good many of us that would have liked a choice of a brighter blue as well. They go and want to pull a new color out of the crayon box and they chose THIS one? GM sure can build a Camaro, but they just can't seem to find the right color all the time. JMO.

I do have to say atleast they are trying to offer more color on the Camaro and compete with ford and Dodge on that front now all that is needed a lighter blue and the lime rock green color and the Camaro paint choices will be complete.
