Camaro's where pony cars back in the day. Even then they were not considered muscle cars. For those of you that don't know the meaning of muscle care you need to research the 60's and early 70's of american cars. The camaro is way to dressed up to be called a muscle car. It never was. They built the camaro, mustang, and challenger(pony cars) to compete with the muscle cars of the day.

What is this obsession with wanting to call every American V8 a muscle car? I just don't get it. If you tell the avg joe to come take a look at your muscle car, there going to expect something from the 60-70's with a big block. Nothing wrong with telling to come look at your 400 plus HP camaro, let it make its own history.
