I want to do headers after I get intake installed, but I don't want to deal with the code thing.

If you could post some of your thoughts on how it sounds while driving that would be awesome. Is there any drone when you have the dual mode exhaust wide open? How does it sound when you have the exhaust in stock mode?

I have the same exhaust on my 2013 1SS and am looking real hard at a set of headers...just curious how it is when driving with the exhaust open and stock.

I read here somewhere that without the cats there is a horrible smell.

Good question and I hope I answer it for you.
I have the "mild to Wild" controller in the car and prior to the header install, I drove mostly with the baffles open except when travelling long distances on the hwy. At those times, the drone would eventually become annoying and I would close the baffles but in town the baffles were always open.
Since the header install, I am keeping the baffles closed (in stock mode). I get the "Bark" on start up and at WOT, but midrange we need to get rid of the drone. Now I have not gone on the hwy yet, but already around town, closed seems better.
