Has anyone had damage from not having rock guards?
I noticed that when there is loose gravel the good years pick up a good amount of rocks; I can hear them. I haven't seen any damage but I'm starting to wonder if i should worry about it.

Beats the shit out of the gills, even with the mudflaps.

Yes. You may want to buy mud flaps from a local auto store, and customize to fit. Most standard ones are not wide enough to accommodate our tire size.

FYI whenever I go on a trip that is more than a half hour drive, I use this stuff.
http://buyroadwrap.com/ It is awesome, looks better than blue tape, and protects the gills and the front bumper from rocks. |

Lots of damage. Even with the rock guards, but they do help.

I have no guards. Car is a few months old. It has damage, and I try to be as careful as I can.

Get 3M put on the gills. Had that put on by the dealer before I even picked the car. Also had the whole front bumper covered and about 18" up the hood. Can't even see that it is on the car.
