Honda people, I have heard the dumbest shit from those guys. "I'm not racing your WS6, you'll be cheating cause its like you have two motors"..."Wow, sounds mean, did you change the cams?" my reply "I changed one" he walked away scratching his head trying to figure it out.
Just the other day I heard some moron tell my neighbor "That noise in your engine is a loose lifter letting the pushrod bounce around inside the engine, you need to pull the valve cover and tighten it up". Neighbor has a late model Mustang GT, he then tells the neighbor that if that's not it, he'll need to pull the connecting rods out and look at the rings to see if they are loose and all of this is the result of putting too much oil in the engine. Needless to say, it hurt my brain to hear it.... |
