Service Stabilitrak Message

I was doing a mod to my car, and while removing the steering wheel i have damaged the SIR coil. I however have managed to put it back fine and achieved the yellow piece of the SIR coil window with approx 3 turns to the right and 3 turns to the left.

When i put everything back and turned on the car, it gave me the message 'Service Stabilitrack'. Could the damage to SIR coil produce that message or is it because of something else?

Note: I have not removed the wheels or jacked up the car or messed around under the hood.
