Hitting the track tonight!
Tis about time! Hadn't been to the track in years and this will be the first time I've raced in the SS. Wish me luck and I'll post up the times later tonight when I get home. Any guesses at what she'll run w/ the mods??? Let's see who can come the closest! Later!!! |

Well, the night is over. After countless runs on a very slow night (due to the weather), I finally came up with my best time.
12.8814 w/ a 1.9448 60ft @ 109.12 on a .6428 light. My best light of the night was .5543. That was a 1.999 60 ft, 109.30 mph, and a 1/4 run of 12.8979. It was pretty consistent in the mid 12.9's. As the car got hot, it was running straigt 13.1's. I got the racing out of my system for now. My tires are sure thanking me now that's it's over, that's for sure!!! I have a larger than baseball size ball of rubber from the wheel wells. No more of that crap. Can't afford it... |

It was great. It rained the past two days and yesterday morning was misting. The skies were very overcast and there were supposed to be scattered t-storms all over sa. It didn't happen, but that scared off a lot of people. I would run, come back, and run again w/out any waiting at all. It was just pass after pass. I really need to work on that 60ft time. My power shifting is fine. Burnouts are too damn good. But that launch is what has me. I never know what rpms I'm leaving at cause I'm too focused on that tree. I know I'm getting them up there, but again...I'm worried about breaking something...drive shaft or rear end. I've seen it happen out there and it's no fun. Oh well, it was a good time. I'm pleased w/ my #'s.
