Your warranty should be fine and no extra horsepower but your dampers will go full stiff. Consult your mechanic if it lasts more than 4 hours.

Will tuning out the AFM void your warranty? That's the only problem I really have with the stock tune.

yes to tune it out you have to rewrite the tune and they will see that if they look.

All they will see is that it has been tampered with and it is not in your service records. What was actually changed would not be relevant. If all you want to do is get rid of AFM just pick up a Range AFM Delete Module.

I just want my rear 02's deleted since I'm running JBA catless mids. For now I live with the CEL when it pops up. Took a week for the first cat efficiency code to come in.

To do that will require tuning.

Yeah I know. I just check the codes every day to make sure it still just has the O2 codes set.

I'd just like to know if anyone on here has been denied an actual warranty repair because of a tune. It sounds like people have had the reverse experience and it would have to be something directly related to the tune, which I'm sure most of the "canned" tunes available have been tested against and will not cause problems. But I'd like anyone who has had a denial to speak up. I'm sure others are interested as well.
