Put in my JBA shorties and hi flow cats today!

Before, with muffler delete and X pipe:

After, with JBA shorties and hi flow cats in:

Install went great, took 5 hours including some breaks. Used ramps instead of jackstands. Couple of notes:
Didn't need to disconnect the steering shaft, I took out the bolt but couldn't slide the shaft out since it was on the ramps. Had to disconnect the stock manifold from the midpipes to get them out the bottom, and install the new parts the same way, which was a pain kinda. The passenger side was easier, but getting the manifold bolts out was more of a hassle. The passenger side went out the bottom in one piece so I was able to connect the new mid pipe to the header before sliding it up the bottom which saved some time and hassle. I had more time wasted figuring out how to safely disconnect all the wiring connections than I did wrenching, which was good I guess. I had a slight leak on the passenger side at the coupler, which went away after sliding it toward the cat 1/2 inch. Got a CEL right away because I forgot to re-connect the temperature sensor (if that's what it's called?) at the front of the drivers side manifold, hopefully it will go away after a few cycles. I'm hoping not to get a CEL from the cats, we'll see over time I guess. This is by far the BEST investment I have put into the car, it's wicked loud now. I LOVE IT.

I installed JBA shorties and HF cats when home on vacation, yes what a difference in sound & tone especially combined with the NPP on my car. Like you said it was about 5 hours or so. I disconnected the steering linkage but it wasn't a big deal. Yeah the passenger side was easier but the drivers wasn't bad though.

A good DIY mod that's fairly simple, straight forward, no surprises or hang-ups.

Side note, the one thing I did add were extenders for the rear o2 sensors, that might be where you're getting your CEL from.

Update: Today I drove 130 miles, CEL was gone this morning. Re-torqued header bolts to 18 ft/lbs, didn't see any signs of leaks. Exhaust definitely has a different smell with the hi flows, and the car REALLY responds over 2k now, and gets loud as hell!
