halo's and blackouts.

Is there any point in having both? I just ordered some GTS blackouts for my headlights but down the road I would like halo's. Not sure if I'm going to go with the RS style or an oracle style. Does anyone have both? what does it look like? can you even see the halo's with the black outs on?

Actually GTS recommends not to use the blackouts with the Halo's because the heat from the lights can melt them. So I just take mine off at night.

Thats what I thought would happen, that they got too hot. I dont do much nite time driving but I did plan to take them off anyways if I did.

I have the gts covers and it's fine to run the halos with the covers. Now with the headlights on it's not recommended to run the headlights but I have for short rides and no prob. I'm allways checking for heat building up but so far ive noticed that they weren't getting that hot. I still don't trust them on for longer rides. I just don't won't to worp the lenses. Plus the covers are pretty dark and you can't see far at night. The halos don't put out enough heat to do anything.
