Hmm. I won't know. By 30k miles, I'll probably have 2-3 stock parts left haha

Bah hahahahaha

Go buy some from summit or jegs, buy a hand pump, put the car in the air and change it yourself.

Will cost you $60 if you have a jack, jack stands, and an hour of your time.

What? Surely GM does not charge that much for it?

I've done my rear diff fluid twice and the trans fluid already and I'm only at 20,000.... Do it yourself its very easy and cheap. My cabin filter was filthy at 10,000 miles.

It wasn't 800 dollars just to change the trans oil. It was 800 total for the 30K mile service. Included trans oil change, motor oil changed, air filer changed and like 2 other small things. I don't get how it was really that much. I will for sure do all these things myself if i have to. Thats ridiculous.

Do you have an auto or manual? Autos really don't need a fluid change at 30k, or even 60k. I'd probably change it at 60k just because, but most cars now days it's not a service item anymore.

There is certainly not $800 worth of stuff to do at 30k miles.

That is how much a transmission change is for my car.

$800 for a 30k service on a Camaro sounds about right.

Why would a transmission fluid change in anything cost 800 bucks? It's less than $100 in materials for an auto, much less for a manual. Let's call it an hour labor, even though it will take much less at $100.

That's maybe 200 bucks tops. The flush for an auto they use a machine that does it for them so it's probably a 15-20 minute job.

Also, I don't think there is such a thing as a 30k mile service anyway.

I really never had to pay this much in service cost at 30K miles. Here is the link.

That's ridiculous. Just do it yourself bro or get a buddy to help you. Changing the air filter is about as easy as brushing your teeth.
