Hey Sailfan26 I was happy to see you received your vin. That's awesome! I know we've been going back and forth stressing about these cars so you receiving yours makes me feel good. I hope you're right, I am checking everyday now until I get mine
Hang in there 1BadSS/RS, you aren't alone here, but I know exactly how you feel no words needed. After all we've been through everyone remember to post some pics. I feel like we have been through a lot together it's crazy. Who knew ordering a car would make me looney tunes? |

Roger that on the winter. One of the first things I have to do is buy snow tires. The sticker says "Summer Tires Only" EEEEKS. I've been driving Camaro's thru the winter all my life, all the way back to my 1975 Camaro. Although my 98SS is not very well behaved in the snow and is banished to the driveway for the winter. Under cover of course. |

These cars are absolutely aweful in the winter weather - snow is a nightmare.
If you got a V6 automatic you might be better off. Back when I HAD to drive my 3rd gen Camaros in the snow I used to put on snow tires and put solid concrete blocks in the trunk area to add weight over the rear. It is not really the driving that I worry about - the road salt is what will destroy these and any other car. Having your other car under a cover may not be the best idea for storage - consider a storage bubble or portable garage solution. The cover will trap moisture under it and this will lead to rust. My 1969 is stored in my garage inside a constant circulation capsule - this helps to ensure there is no build up of moisture. |

Just to pass some time I decided to show my fellow 9/7 TPW friends my other baby. This is my first time posting a pic. I'm also doing this for practice for when it's time to post pics of my new baby. |

Thanks Sailfan26, my Chevelle is my true love. I love this car. Wonder if they'll ever come out with something similar ever again.

I think the days of the muscle car are in their death throes. Industry looks like it's moving to a more effecient, alternative fuel auto. Won't be long before gas is too expensive for what we (collectively) own. Soon, only collectors and museums will have muscle cars. Until then WE ROCK!!!
