I had the opportunity on meeting a fellow car enthusiast today a 2009 GT-R skyline owner while we were getting our cars detailed...giving each other props and respect on each others car...

,,, so!!!.... i know the skyline its fast and sick looking car

but has almost the same weight as our cars.... so who do you think would be the fastest of the two of us??

this is a stock vs. stock comparison please leave mods out of this thread.....Thank YOU!!....if your getting confused please

Horsepower = 485 @ 6400---------- 426 @ 5900
Torque = 434 @ 3200-------------- 420 @ 4600
Base Weight = 3829 lbs------------ 3849 lbs

It's way out of our league. This thing should be compared to the Viper SRT10, Corvette Z06, etc.

Thats a super-car slayer...you're not a super-car, so it wont even be close to a fair fight.

I wouldnt take one of those on in anything less than a ZR1 or SRT10.

The Z06 is faster in a straight line, as well as being slightly worse if not equal than the GT-R on the road courses.

Take weight, divide by power. Low numbers are good.
Take weight, divide by torque. Again, low numbers are good.

Even if it didn't have AWD, it would out accelerate a Camaro. Since it does have AWD, it isn't a contest. Then add to that the fact that it has been designed to handle exceptionally well and its no contest in any measure of performance.

The AWD is a killer. Yeah, it's icing on the cake but wow... they fly.

My buddy has a GTR. His is Matte Black. Looks a lot like the one pictured above, except his wheels are powder coated.

Anywho, we recently did a pro photoshoot with Nikki's Camaro and his GTR .. Should have the pics pretty soon. Should be pretty badass!

But yeah, the GTR is a supercar. Maybe the Z28 will stand a chance? lol.

GT-R will win without a doubt. Don't get me wrong I love the camaro but if I had the funds I would definitley buy a GT-R. If you have a chance watch the top gear episode about the GT-R. It's amazing!

watched a vid on youtube a diecast collect friend took of his son who owns a 2ss/rs and a gtr lucky sob ...couple weeks ago they dragged them the dad is a well seasoned drag racer from back in the day and was in the gtr nd his son was in the ss they took down the vid after his dad spanked him on 3 passes lol they had so much feedback they just flat took it down but yep gtr will spak the ss even if the ss has a procharger on it lol wish the vid wasstill up i'd send a link to it
