Welp, ran outta luck last weekend at the Pure Stock Drags with the '69...seems I spun a bearing in the engine, after qualifying #8 with a 12.05...so, looks like we'll have to pull the old school 427 and go through it while the new school 427 is getting built & installed in the '10! That way, they'll both have fresh 427s for next year's racing season...

SWEET! It's looking like there will be several *new to the show* survivor-type race cars from back in the day...a couple just found S/S COPO Camaros, I'm leaning on Dana's Berger S/S car, etc...and hopefully, they'll all have some fun on Friday!

That is a very pretty car. I know you must be proud of it.

I suspect you will have a problem with oil drizzle comming out of that breather on the fill tube once you drive it a bit. You may have a draft tube at the back of the block but I can't see it from here. Just a thought.

Love the car!

-Mark.

I'm looking at a 69 RS, auto, ps, pb and air. It's my cousins and her husbands car and they just bought another one with a big block. So I might be picking up the RS.
