Having a high payment pays off!

Dropped off my car to have my top replaced and got it back with a scratch on one of my hood stripes. The scratch is borderline on if I want to get the stripe replaced. You can't really see it unless I point it out and the sun hits it just right. Anyways, my service adviser said since he couldn't prove if his guys or the upholstery shop's guys did it or if it was pre existing so he could not have it replaced. He said that what he could do is have the dealership cut me a check for one month's car payment since I had been through so much crap with my car's top getting fixed/replaced. So I am getting a $775 check on Monday!

Woo hoo for having a high car payment! Before anyone starts the whole "Why would you have a payment that high" debate, I never put any money down on vehicles (good credit) and always pay a lot more than the monthly payment every month.

I love the color scheme of your car. Sucks that you've had the car in for service for so long but getting a payment back is nice.

Here is a pic of the scratch. It actually doesn't look this bad the sun just hit it perfectly for the pics.

I'm definitely thinking about it but am afraid of someone doing a crap job with all the bad luck I had had with my car lately.

Yes with me they typically make stuff worse. I would take the money and run.

Interesting since the dealer could have replaced the stripes for less than what they are paying you. Seems a tad odd to me but, works in your favor. WIN
