FOR SALE : ZL1 Replica Hood - PRICED TO SELL!
SOLD
I answered all of the PM's sent to me and apologize for missing many of the general inquiry questions within this thread - but all PM's have been answered. I also "tried" to be very clear in the original post as possible - but know a ton of other questions popped - and some were in the original post - but all PM's answered. I am in the process of selling a number of items I am either not using, set to the side, empty my garage, and aid my Camaro reinvestment. I have posted many pics of this hood during the ZL1 Transformation I did - and ultimately broke the bank on a GM ZL1 hood - $$$. Size / Weight / and Fit compared to this hood is essentially identical ... Price, not so much I have included several pictures below, and the hood is in excellent condition - fits extremely well and I show that in many other posts as well. You will see that I have made the insert go from exact paint match, plasti-dip to look like the satin insert, and then "attempted" carbon wrap for that look as well. PRICED TO SELL :
Shipping : Most hoods require freight shipping so may ask for the buyer not local to Louisville, KY - to work some of those logistics. Some have said that GreyHound is an option - I will let you decide. I wish I could use UPS/FedX and will attempt again on a purchase. I "WILL" consider a solid TRADE for an 18" DRAG RADIAL REAR PAIR. I have had "MANY" questions on this hood when I originally posted that I may be selling it - and have responded to "many many many questions". My only ask, and I will answer any question, is serious inquiries please. I hesitate stating this but was just a flood of questions.. Please PM me on any questions or interest. So if this is a ZL1 replica than why does the lines not line up with the ZL1 front bumber cover?

All of the aftermarket hoods are designed with the factory V6/SS bumper lines this is what this hood is as well. So if you have done the ZL1 bumper conversion and had your bumper's lines moved you are golden. I have this exact hood on order I cannot wait for it to arrive.

It appears to be painted cyber grey. Can you confirm? Are the hood spears painted or vinyl?

Yup. I have the GM hood and real OEM insert. My savings account hates me.

Guys, those are pictures the OP pulled from eBay. He stated that the hood he is selling is primer grey.

I didn't see the "painted" part. My mistake but to redeem myself a little, the photos with the 45th vinyl ARE photos from ebay. The hood does look like a pretty good fit. I'm impressed. If its still lingering around next week I might want this. |
